West Bay Photographs
I spent a week at West Bay on Dorset's Jurassic coast. The Jurassic coast is a world heritage site and stretches for 95 miles from Exmouth to Studland bay in Dorset. The dramatic cliffs of East beach shown in the photographs expose 180 millions years of History, hence this coast is also known as the dinosaur Coast. West Bay has two beaches divided into East West by the Jurassic Pier, which provides stunning views in both directions. Situated at the far Western End of the Chesil bank both beaches are formed from smooth but uncomfortable pebbles giving way to coarse sand along the strand line. All of the photographs of West Bay can be purchased throughLandscape Photography gallery.
